Will hiring Every Detail Done just add an additional expense to my project?

Project management and owner's representation should never increase overall project costs. On the contrary, our reason for being is to keep your project on budget. The advantage of hiring Every Detail Done early in the process is that we can reduce costs by facilitating close coordination with the entire team, from design through move-in.

Therefore, our fee is typically not additional after all, as a more focused and efficient process results in an ultimately reduced project budget.

Will the project team members view project management as a roadblock?

Our goal as your representative is to create a harmonious experience for all of the project team members. Architects, contractors, consultants, and vendors all have aggressive profit margins, and want to complete work as efficiently as possible. They assume a certain number of hours dedicated to each project and rely on timely information delivery in order to keep pace with their own internal budgets.

Part of our role is to extract this information from the owner and communicate it back to team members. With the absence of a project manager, team members risk losing money and may initiate claims against an owner for mismanagement.

I have internal support. Why would I need to hire a representative for the project?

The beauty of our business is we are consultants — part time help. We can be flexible with client needs regarding the project team. Some clients have previous relationships with architects and contractors, have internal IT support, or have already contracted with various firms prior to bringing in representation.

An Every Detail Done project manager can be hired to manage any number of firms and concentrate on specific areas, complimenting the client’s requirements.
